When you start a new family, sometimes you must give up your hobbies. I've rewarded 17 years later to be able to spend Sunday afternoon at the track racing with my daughter Amy.

As we each go are own ways to start families we lose our old school age friends. Go karting at Dousman is a great way to meet new friends with common interests.

The years of kart racing have provided a lifetime of friendships, intense competition and terrific memories. Where else can you find dedicated people who love the sport, are willing to help you in the paddock to become a better racer, and then buckling on the helmet and competing vigorously against you on the track? 

The TAG Masters Series is characterized by mature competitors who have the experience necessary to handle the speed of this class, and respectfully enjoy racing wheel-to-wheel against others with similar abilities and interests. Karting is terrific racing that provides virtually unlimited practice and testing opportunities, a rarity in most forms of racing, opening the door for continual improvement if someone is willing to work at it.

Words can't really describe why I drive so far other than I have developed some great friendships the racing is great (it’s not a crash-fest ). It is possible to race here for a reasonable cost and tires are limited to four sets. The officiating is reasonable and fair for tech and driving infractions. The racers opinion is requested on almost all topics that will affect our events. There is the thrill of racing for a competitive championship but not at the expense of potentially crashing each other. Billfolds matter more than winning in this series for most.

After having been around full race cars for the better part of...... forever, I found karting and finally, the TaG Masters series. I didn't want to log laps, I wanted to compete. The TaG series has competitors from all walks of life but at their core they are competitors. The competition keeps me coming back.
